Having recently learned that my copy of Word was not genuine - a great shock - I have had to uninstall it. I have had an Access database sent to me that I must access but of course without Access itself I cannot open this.
I was directed to download Microsoft Access Runtime which would permit me to access and use the database. I have downloaded this piece of software and although it opens the database file it simply shows a blank screen with no details or tabs to allow me to open any of the tables, queries or forms which I know should be there.
